Kent Self Build open stunning new showroom

Kent Self Build Ltd, have just opened a stunning new showroom in Yate, Bristol. The showroom will showcase a wide range of Deceuninck products including Twinson decking, Belface cladding, Décor wall and ceiling panels, trims and decorative cladding. It will also display the range of Deceuninck doors and windows.

The showroom, with its modern, fresh and open feel, targets the domestic market. Having said that, Kent Self Build anticipate that their trade customers will find it useful to support their own sales efforts too. Its opening marks the culmination of a comprehensive rebranding of the company, including a name change from Kent Building Plastics to Kent Self Build Ltd. As the new name and new showroom suggests, it has extended its target audience to include the self-build market and professional DIYer who has the confidence to buy direct. Not that they have forgotten their trade customers: their trade counters in Yate and Hereford remain very much open for business.

In all this rebranding, one thing that hasn’t changed is the strength of the relationship Kent Self Build have with their supplier, Deceuninck. Kent have been with Deceuninck for nearly 20 years and have never had cause to think about switching. Mike Kent, Managing Director at Kent said, “We really appreciate the quality and innovation of Deceuninck’s products. We also appreciate the strength of the support we have always received from them.”

By extending their market, Kent Self Build have found a way to protect themselves in a tough market. And with plans afoot to open another showroom in Hereford later this year, it seems that success is the only thing on their minds!
