National Plastics continue expansion
National Plastics, the nationwide building plastics specialist, has just opened its latest store in Exeter, bringing the total number of stores in the Group to 25.
The Exeter store will also be one of two new regional distribution centres. As such it will showcase the entire National Plastics’ range, which includes doors, windows and conservatories as well as fascias, soffits, guttering, garden products, EDPM rubber roofing and more, plus all the tools, accessories and equipment needed to install them. It will also service depots in the region. The other distribution centre will be in Corby, where the existing National Plastics branch has moved to larger premises.
Both the Exeter and Corby stores will feature Eco Centres, which will show examples of the most environmentally responsible products in the range. They will also allow customers to stay ahead of the latest product innovations through the use of visual aids such as plasma screens and dedicated product areas.
Geoff Foster, Group Divisional Director of National Plastics, said, “We’re excited about all the developments at National Plastics. The Exeter store will make our products much more easily accessible to our customers in the South West. We are also delighted to have reached the stage where we needed to open regional distribution centres to improve our high standards of service and rapid delivery times. The Eco Centres are an important new development for us too, because they offer our customers the support they’ve told us they need and help us to meet our aim to provide innovative and proactive solutions to the industry.”
Geoff is understandably proud of National Plastics’ success, which he puts down to their uncompromising approach to quality. The company’s aim is to achieve sustainable and profitable growth through the pursuit of excellence. To match the unparalleled range of products the company stocks, its customer service is designed to meet and exceed their customers’ needs.
This approach is certainly paying dividends, as the new store and regional distribution centres demonstrate.
