Masterframe wins G08 Fabricator of the Year.
Sliding sash specialist Masterframe Windows Ltd has won Fabricator of the Year at this year’s G08 Awards. That’s twice they’ve won fabricator of the year in three years and 5 awards in the past 4 years including Customer Care and the Energy Efficiency Initiatives
To win the award Masterframe beat tough competition from fabricators Lancashire Trade Frames and Emplas Window Systems to take home the top prize. The judges were impressed by the enthusiasm of the management team.

Masterframe was the first UK window company to announce an energy efficient ‘C’ rated window from The British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) and the first to achieve British Board of Agrément (BBA) ‘system status’, which tests the whole window for a 20 year life expectancy. Masterframe launched a timber version of its flagship Bygone sash at Grand Designs Live 2008.
The industry’s first mandatory professional qualification to fit sashes was established by Masterframe this year - The Bygone Collection Standard Installation Method NVQ Programme.
The company won Energy Efficiency Initiative of the Year at the G 07 Awards, and the G 06 Fabricator of the Year and Customer Care Award of the year. Masterframe is also in the 2008 Regional Finals for The National Business Award for Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year. Managing Director Alan Burgess is also Chair of the Glass and Glazing Federations’ Home Improvement Executive.
