MB Frames window energy rating is cause for celebration
MB Frames are celebrating achieving a BFRC energy rating of A on their Encore casement window, which is their trade name for the Deceuninck 2800 decorative suite.
Paul Young, MB Frames’ Business Development Manager said, “We’re delighted with this rating and we owe a great deal of thanks to everyone here and at Deceuninck for their work in achieving it. It’s a testament to the quality of our products and will be a valuable selling tool in today’s market where the consumer is concerned about the environment and rapidly escalating energy prices.”
The A rating is the most energy efficient that can be achieved and it was awarded by the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC), which operates the national rating system for the thermal performance of fenestration products.
Much of the work involved in achieving the rating was carried out by MB Frames’ systems supplier, Deceuninck assisted by Technical Support Engineer Mark Castle who is a Certified Simulator for the BFRC Window Energy Ratings Scheme, providing the necessary expertise in-house.
Paul Young, MB Frames’ Business Development Manager said “We have been with Deceuninck for 17 years and with their support on this they’ve demonstrated once again that they are an excellent company to work with.”
MB Frames moved into new 30000 foot square premises last year, enabling them to meet demand from their trade customer base which stretches from Birmingham to the south coast. With the achievement of this energy rating, it seems that demand is only likely to increase!
