Sandblasted glass has made a resurgence into the UK decorative glass market over the last few years due to its simple elegance combined with the high levels of privacy provided . The downside however has been the problem of cleaning and fingerprint marks when it is used in a single glazed application.

Several companies have been offering a solution to this age old problem with a wide range of protection chemicals being used in the market. The NanoDEC coloured glass protection system is a single part product which is applied quickly and easily without the need for specialist equipment and costs less than £2.50 to colour and protect a square metre of sandblasted glass. Nanogate have tested the product for colour stability with the DIN EN ISO 11 431 standard and offer a 10 year warranty for internal applications.
