New WIW opens in mid-Wales

A new Window Installers Warehouse (WIW) trade counter has opened in Porthmadog, North Wales.

Owners R. Williams & Co. Ltd. have been running a successful building contractors business in the area for the past 25 years. WIW Porthmadog has been set up as a new venture and will compliment their existing business.

Situated on the busy Penamser Business Park, the unit contains a combined trade counter, showroom and storage area.

Open to trade, DIY and retail customers, WIW Porthmadog will stock a comprehensive range of Rehau S70 and Spectus Elite 70 windows and doors, panels and composite doors and a range of plastic building products, tools, ancillaries, sealants, fasteners and fixings.

According to manager Carys Williams, the main reason for opening the new WIW was to fill a gap in the market. She says: “Within Porthmadog and the surrounding areas of Pwllheli, Caernarfon, Dolgellau and Barmouth, there was little or no choice for buying quality PVC windows, doors and glazing products at competitive prices. Thanks to our association with WIW we can now offer a comprehensive range all under one roof.”

Carys Williams is able to offer customers either a supply only or a supply and fit service at WIW Porthmadog. Accurate quotations are instantly available through the use of the latest quotation software. Opening hours are 9 – 4.30 Monday to Friday and 9 – 12.30 on Saturday with free parking outside.
