Thames Valley Window Company’s success with Apeer
The Thames Valley Window Company switched to New World’s Apeer soon after its launch in 2004 even though it had been selling other brands composite doorsets for 17 years.
“We give our customers the best products and the best service, and we do it day in day out, year in year out. That’s the secret of our success” explains owner Mark Schofield. “Apeer is simply the best composite doorset on the market by far. We have been using it for several years now and we find that householders appreciate a superior quality product. Also New World is a terrific company to deal with. If we have any queries they are dealt with quickly and efficiently.”
Building up his business over 25 years, Mark now has a very experienced team whose employment record would be the envy of many competitors. His three surveyors have over 70 years of expertise between them. The last of his seven salespeople was recruited eight years ago and this stability has given both the company, and its customers, a justifiable confidence.
Operating throughout the south-east from Bracknell, Thames Valley also sells a wide range of windows, secondary glazing, conservatories, soffits and fascia. The company’s commercial and technical competence is endorsed with the announcement of its best trading year ever in 2009.
New World supplies a complete range of composite doorsets which are completely secure and thermally tested. Kitemarked Apeer, with its double rebate and triple-glazing is top of the range, Monno is a flush-fit option, the classic Diamond and Isolate a 30-minute fire rated door for multi-occupancy residences. Some can be provided as slab-only options for fabricators to add hardware. Apeer and Monno have a uniquely-fitted glazing cassette secured into the door and impossible to remove externally. With a grained finish, their discrete trim has the added benefit of no unsightly fixings, yet the glass unit can be deglazed quite simply from the inside. ends
Notes to editors: Born out of Ace Fixings, which was founded in Ballymena in 1978, New World Developments has since become Ireland’ and the UK’s leading composite door supplier. With 29 years of extensive projects to boast of, New World’s growth comes from always putting the customer centre-stage. New World has a purpose-designed manufacturing plant of 60,000 sq ft on a seven acre site and is a major employer in the area. As well as several PVC panel ranges, three composite door ranges have been launched, double rebate Apeer and flush-fit Monno and Isolate, a 30 minute fire door, essential for multi-residential buildings. These are available online to an increasing number of customers. Its successful PanelSpec facility, which has been operating for over six years, allows New World door panels to be specified via the web or interactive CD.
