Liniar launches Liniar Energy Plus, the next generation energy efficient profile

Eighteen months after launching the first dedicated PVC-U window system designed to achieve top energy ratings and top security performance, Liniar has launched an extension to the range called Liniar Energy Plus. This next generation, energy efficient window profile pushes the boundaries of thermal performance even further. Liniar Energy Plus is a significant development that extends the capability of Liniar fabricators enabling them to achieve the highest Window Energy Ratings (WERs). It has been designed to optimise thermal performance without the need for costly thermal inserts. Liniar Energy Plus is an integral part of the 100% lead free Liniar system, interchangeable with all existing profiles and fully compatible with existing accessories and hardware.

Simulations show that Liniar Energy Plus can achieve a window energy rating of A+8. It can also achieve an A rating with normal float glass on the outer pane rather than the more expensive low-iron glass required with other systems.

Liniar broke new ground 18 months ago with an innovative window system that is more thermally efficient than other aging systems, one that helps fabricators achieve WERs without compromising security. It also pioneered several other fabricator-friendly innovations to improve productivity and help customers make, install and sell more effectively.
