PROMAC’S ITALIAN MENU

Promac Group recently attended an international sales meeting with their machinery partner For.El in Vallio di Roncade, Italy and used the opportunity to present company founder Fortunato Vianello with the Glassex award for best new glass machinery product.

The new fully automated Super Spacer® line now incorporates the new shape recognition system at the start of the line which means that glass processors can now process shaped units automatically online, without having to pre-program the glass running order or machinery to do so. Another new development is the online quality control scanner, which checks that every piece of glass that the line processes is free from any optical defects such as seeds, smears and scratches. Both these new developments were firsts for both For.El and Promac and were displayed on their impressive stand at Glassex, earlier this year.

The objective of the international sales meeting was for all For.El’s global partners to get together, share information and to look at collective future strategies. Other companies such as Edgetech were also represented. For.El’s warm and open culture stems from the fact that the Vianello family continue to run the business and this meeting was run in a professional, yet relaxed manner.

Derek Bonnard, Promac Group managing director concluded: “It was an impressive conference and an opportunity to look at the issues we all face in a wide number of international markets. Regardless of country, glass processors are faced with improving production efficiencies and more importantly have a significant role to play in addressing environmental issues through better performing IGU’s.”
